Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
How to request account deletion
Email support@airegcheck.co.uk from the email address associated with your AI Reg Check account.
Use the subject or message “Delete my AI Reg Check account” so we can identify and process your request.
We may need to verify that you control the account before completing the request.
What happens when your request is processed
Where applicable, we will delete or anonymise:
- your active AI Reg Check account and profile;
- account contact details and preferences;
- saved vehicles, account history and associated personal account data; and
- other personal information linked to the active account that is no longer required.
Once the active account has been deleted, you will no longer be able to sign in or access information, checks or credits associated with it.
Records we may need to retain
Deleting your active account does not necessarily mean that every record connected with past activity can be erased immediately. Certain transaction, payment, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or legal records may be retained where required by law or where necessary for legitimate regulatory, accounting, dispute-resolution or fraud-prevention purposes.
Any retained records are kept separately from an active user account, are not used to keep the account available, and are limited to what is required for those purposes. They are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer required.
